Description
Heel elevations usually have a specific purpose. You can elevate a heel for a leg length discrepancy usually up to a half inch. Anything higher would alter the pitch from heel to ball of foot to much. In that case you would do a full elevation across the entire surface of the sole (see sole elevation). In some cases, such as damaged achilles tendon, drop foot or severe plantar fasciitis, a doctor will prescribe higher elevation amounts. Anything over a half inch will require a doctors prescription. Price for one shoe is $45 up to a 1/2″ and add on $10 for each additional 1/2″.
